Here's a peek of Suzanne's captivating personality.

Suzanne Lasky-Gerard initiated her broadcasting journey at the Miami CBS Channel 4 affiliate, crafting the acclaimed “Bobby,” A documentary addressing the issue of children using drugs. This program, required viewing for all Miami-Dade County school children, gained global recognition on our Armed Forces’ worldwide TV stations. Concurrently, Suzanne authored and produced the monthly news documentary series “FYI” for CBS, MIAMI. Transitioning to the NBC MIAMI affiliate then Channel 7,she co-hosted “Outside Chance,” a program on changing environment, other talk shows Suzanne hoated and produced programs for over 25 years.

Suzanne then left the networks and opened South Florida Productions, an award-winning video company creating commercials and documentaries, including the Emmy award-winning “The March of the Living” for PBS stations. It aired nationally ON PBS stations for over a decade. Today, Suzanne travels the speaker’s circuit showing and providing commentary on her updated documentary, now titled, “THE MARCH OF THE LIVING THEN &NOW”.

Throughout her career, Suzanne Lasky-Gerard has received several honors, including being named as “The State of Florida’s Most Outstanding Young Woman,” a Mayor’s Proclamation declaring “Suzanne Lasky Day” in Miami-Dade County, commendations from over 100 charitable organizations, and the “Breaking the Glass Ceiling Award” from Florida International University’s Jewish Museum of Florida. She holds a BS degree from Hunter College, and an MS from Queens College both of CUNY. Currently residing in South Florida and Boone, North Carolina, with her husband and rescued boxer, Tobi, Suzanne reflects upon the progress of women in television and recalls the challenges she and other women faced during the 70s and 80s.
